“Judge not” is one of the most misquoted verses in the Bible—but Jesus wasn’t banning discernment. In Luke 6:37–42, He confronts the real issue: hypocrisy. This message challenges us to deal with our own sin before we ever try to correct someone else’s. The speck-and-log imagery exposes just how blind we can be to our own faults.

Jesus calls us to a higher standard—mercy, forgiveness, and radical generosity—because that’s exactly what God has given us. When we understand the horror of what we were saved from, extending grace becomes our natural response.
