THE VISION | Jarrod Cochran
In the year-opening message, we're challenged to embrace the heart of Jesus for the lost. The parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15 takes center stage, reminding us of God's relentless pursuit of those who have strayed. Just as the shepherd leaves the 99 to find one lost sheep, we're called to step out of our comfort zones and actively seek those far from God. This isn't about judgment but about love and restoration. The message emphasizes that heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents more than 99 righteous persons. We're encouraged to shift our focus from maintaining the status quo to actively pursuing the lost, proclaiming the gospel, and preparing hearts for eternity. This challenges us to examine our own hearts: Are we content with our current spiritual state, or are we willing to join God in His mission to seek and save the lost? This is our new identity.
